Montreal, January 29, 2019 – The AQAÉM continued its tour of the regions on January 25, holding a regular meeting of its Board of Directors in the magnificent offices of the regional county municipality of Argenteuil.

At the end of its meeting, the members of the AQAÉM’s Board of Directors were welcomed by the Mayors of the regional county municipality. Scott Pearce, warden and Mayor of the municipality of Gore, notably emphasized the importance of the support and guidance of former elected officials.

In her thank-you message, Helen Fotopulos, Chair of the AQAÉM, emphasized the recognition of the role of elected municipal officials, while inviting the Mayors of Argenteuil to contribute toward building the heritage of former elected officials in their respective communities.

The AQAÉM wishes to thank the warden, his colleagues and Marc Carrière, the Directeur général of the regional county municipality of Argenteuil, for their warm welcome!
